In a world full of noise, distractions, notifications, and constant pressure, how do we actually slow down and spend time with God? One of the most countercultural practices is that of solitude. Solitude is the intentional choice to step away from the chaos and be alone with God. Throughout Scripture, Jesus regularly withdrew to quiet places to pray. If solitude was essential for Jesus, maybe it’s something we desperately need too.
